Super great food. Very cozy restaurant. A really clocky room. Has existed since the 15th century and has been beautifully restored.

We were there as tourists. The service was OK, the young gentleman was great. The food was delicious and the value for money was right. Unfortunately, on our second visit there, we waited almost an hour for food.

We were with family and friends in the Kematsried Essen and immediately impressed by the nice welcome and the really cozy atmosphere! We were given competent and friendly advice on the choice of food and drinks! Special requests in the combination of dishes were made possible as a matter of course. The service "Alex" was very attentive and had the right answer to every question about food and drinks. The food was of the highest quality and the service pleasantly perfect. The boss came to our table at the end and gave us an insight into his cooking skills. After this perfect evening we were there twice and were thrilled every time.

Food very tasty. Meat quality and doneness great. Unfortunately too expensive for the price, too many Connvinnens products, even spaetzle and Kaiserschmarrn, are bought in. Service ok, but a little more attention and warmth to the guest wouldn't hurt. Therefore adjust prices and everything is ok again.

A quaint, beautiful inn with very friendly hosts. The Allgäu cheese soup was a poem and filling. It's definitely worth a visit, and the next time I'll be looking forward to one of the main courses.

Third time in 2 years we had diner here. Tears in my eyes, such a fine taste. The forel, the cheese soup, meat, deserts, good wines. So good, so delicious, nice atmosphere, great service, sweet owners. A joy to be here. Thank you.

You should make a reservation, otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat. The staff is nice, the guest room and the toilets tidy. The food was plentiful and really tasty. You prices raised. A star deduction because they wanted to refer us first because of not making a reservation, although a table was free. We were then placed at an assigned table with the reference by when we had to vacate the table. Afterwards the "free" table was given to people who had also not reserved. So we would have stayed longer as guests had we not been thrown out. There is a luxury problem here - too many guests - despite good food, we would go somewhere else, simply because we want to eat comfortably and want to be seen as guests and not be seen as a serial number.
